Sarah Ann Davis Harward, 90, formerly of Boxcar Alley, passed away Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center in Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Hillsboro, NC, Sarah was the widow of Rev. Charlie A. Harward Sr. and the daughter of the late Calvin L. and Mina Riley Davis. She formerly worked in textiles and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Rock Hill.

Mrs. Harward is survived by her children, Denise Morris, Marie Shumate, and Timothy C. Harward Sr., and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Lamara Harward, Obie Harward, and Charlie Harward Jr., and her siblings, Edward, Henry, Jim, and Obie Davis.
