Save A Life Group donates $2,000 to CRKA
Save A Life Group (SALG) recently donated $2,000 to support the Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association (CRKA) in their vital role of assisting kidney and urology diseased patients in the region. Margaret Ledford, Founder, began CRKA in 1980 with one main objective - "to identify and help meet the needs of kidney-diseased patients" in the region. Initially transporting dialysis patients was the priority. Today, CRKA responds to main other life-saving services that include: transportation, medication assistance, grocery assistance, stress management counseling, education, advocacy, holiday assistance, patient/family support center, organ and tissue donor program, post-transplant support, volunteer training, and more. If you are a kidney or urologic diseased patient, please call Michelle at 704-481-9535 to learn more about CRKA. 100% of any donations remain in this service area.
