  This year’s “Mush, Music & Mutts” Festival in Shelby, held Saturday, October 18, was filled curb to curb with people and pets. The beautiful streets Uptown Shelby welcomed a happy, hungry crowd to a merriment of good times. At one time, over 70 people were waiting to get their mush in the Mack’s line. Pet lovers brought out their furry friends to join in the pet parade and costume contest, as others participated in the livermush eating contest. Children got to play in inflatables and the human hamster wheel. Needless to say, our early fall weather was perfect for the occasion!
