Mrs. Sheri Walsh Lanier, 51, of James Lovelace Rd., died Sun. Feb. 19^th, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Paris Island, SC, she was the daughter of the late James John Walsh and Shirley Cavender Gibson.  She was a former employee of PPG Industries.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathi Burke.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Gary Lanier of the home; daughter, Misty Burke-Scott and husband Douglas; two sons, Jason Burke and wife Stacy, and Brandon Lanier, all of Blacksburg; two sisters, Susan Hunter of Bessemer City, and Melissa Cole and husband Randy of Elon; seven brothers, James Burke and wife Teresa of Kings Mountain, and Phillip Burke of Huntsville, AL, Ian Walsh of the home, Patrick, Kyle, Daniel, and Nicholas Walsh, all of Michigan; 13 grandchildren, Sheena York, Anthony, Austin, Anya, John,  Payton, and Belton Spencer Scott, Kenny Cooper, Noah Burke, Will and Melinda Infinger, Matthew and Kyle Lanier.

SERVICES: 11:00am, Thursday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home
