Sherrill Jenkins passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born in Shelby, NC, on April 1, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Street and Ocie Mae Parris Street. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James C Jenkins.

Sherrill is survived by a son, David Jenkins, and her special friend, Jack Kennedy.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Zoar Baptist Church with Pastors Jon Jones and Kathy Houser officiating. The family will receive friends, following the service in the church Family Life Center.

The family will have private time together at Cleveland Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Neal Senior Center.
