Steven Delmar Donaldson, 70, of 304-1 East Double Shoals Rd. in Lawndale,
passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born December 13, 1946 in Mecklenburg County, he was a son of the late Oscar
Wales Donaldson and Nellie Jean Allmon Donaldson. He was retired from Old
Dominion Freight Company as a truck driver and was a member of Redeemed
Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christie
Alana Donaldson and two sisters.

Survivors include four sons, Adam Donaldson and wife Tammy of Lawndale,
James Strange and wife Loretta of Oakboro, Steven John Donaldson and wife
Betty of Charlotte and Christopher Matthew Donaldson and wife Gloria of
Charlotte; daughter, Brandy Donaldson Peterson and husband Rusty of
Lawndale; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Monday at Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness
Church with Rev. Coye Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
