Steven Douglas Petty GASTONIA - Mr. Steven Douglas Petty a native of Gaston County, age 49, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, June 22, 2015. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Bostic Johnson. Steven is survived by his father, Bobby Lewis Petty; two brothers, Lewis Petty of Cowpens, SC and Darryl Petty of Elgin, SC; one sister, Teresa Ann Woods of Stanley, NC. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Welcome Baptist Church, 500 Cloninger Street, Dallas, NC 28034 with the Pastor Sonny Miller officiating.
