Many of Cleveland County's Environmental Science and Biology students participated in an Earth Day Project Based Learning unit prior to Earth Day. This unit included a service project where students participated in a clean up near or on school grounds. Each class created a project board that was displayed at the Day of Service Pot Luck Dinner that ended the Earth Day weekend.
Community members were very interested in the project boards and very proud of the students who created them. The connectedness, passion for knowledge, and love for our planet was felt throughout the day.
