Summer Movies will be shown on the second and fourth Thursdays of the summer, from 7:00-9:00 pm, at the Don Gibson Theatre at 318 S. Washington Street, Shelby. Each movie offers a great opportunity for families to enjoy a fun night out together. Admission is $1 per person and popcorn is free.
Wells Fargo’s continued support and commitment to serve the community allows Uptown Shelby Association the ability to offer another great movie line up this year. The Summer Cinema Series dates and movies are as follows: June 28th Hugo, July 12th Dolphin Tale, July 26th The Muppets, August 9thMary Poppins, and August 23rd Kung Fu Panda #2. Each movie in the series was carefully selected to appeal to kids of all ages. From the classical film Mary Poppins to the re-make of The Muppets, the movies are sure to captivate the young at heart.
