Ms. Susan Elliott Self, 54, of Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Elliott Family Cemetery. 

Ms. Self is survived by her parents, John Paxton and Margaret Grayson Elliott; 2 daughters, Amanda Self of Berkley, California and Jessica Self and friend Donavan Travioli of Spartanburg, SC; 1 sister, Karen Elliott and friend Tom Baxter of Shelby; 1 brother, David Elliott of Shelby; and Ex-Husband, Harley Self of Ellenboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cleveland County Humane Society, 1609 E. Marion Street, Shelby, NC 28150; or to Rehobeth United Methodist Church, 2036 Rehobeth Church Rd., Shelby, NC 28150.
