Blacksburg - Susan Faris Bolin, 64, of 1005 Caldwell Road, passed away on October 30, 2018 at her residence.

Born in York, she was the widow of Marvin Gene Bolin and the daughter of the late James W. Faris and Susan Lynn Williams Faris. She previously worked at Timken.

She is survived by one son, Marvin Gene Bolin, Jr. (Rachel); two daughters, Rachel Bolin (Timothy Foster) and Patricia James (Frank); three brothers, Steve, Frank, and Ted Faris; eight grandchildren, Krislyn Bolin, Carson Bolin, Layton Bolin, Bryson Foster, Savannah Foster, Brandon Allen, Megan James, and Autumn James; five great-grandchildren, Rylan James, Brentley James, Zayden Wyatt, Zaylee Wyatt, and Timmy Lee Foster.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Faris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Interment will be at Bethany ARP Church Cemetery, 1400 SC-161, Clover, SC. Justin Harris, James Harris, Brandon Allen, Nate Lovelace, Wayne Hinkle, and Wayne Bolin will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence at 1005 Caldwell Road, Blacksburg, SC.
