Blacksburg -- Terry Sylvanis Richardson, 74, 0f 604 W. Cherokee St., passed away on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at his home.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the husband of Doris Moore Richardson and the son of the late Wilbur and Mildred Moss Richardson. Terry retired as an electrician and previously attended Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his children: Tammy Coyle, Johnny Coyle, Gina Manning (Brian), Stephanie Ramsey (Dylan), Michael Richardson (Cynthia), and Drew Wheeler; twelve grandchildren: Dameon Wheeler, Krayson Coyle, Jacob Coyle, Chase Manning, Abbie Blake, Brantley Ramsey, Weston Ramsey, Brent Richardson, Blake Richardson, Brandy Richardson, Cody Richardson, and Rocky Richardson; and a sister, Bonnie Scruggs (Larry).

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Brian Pierce and Charles Richardson, and a brother, David Richardson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating.
