The Clock Man Donates to The Salvation Army
Cassie Herndon
God Bless Reid Sipe of Kings Mountain, known to many as The Clock Man. For about 16 or 17 years, Sipe has donated money raised from his clock repair hobby to The Salvation Army. Since 2006, his contributions have been in memory of his grandson, Justin, and a few years later, also for his late wife Betty. The Army estimates he's produced more than $85,000 to help The Salvation Army's programs in Cleveland County. Sipe has served on TSA's Advisory Board for more than three years now.
