Theodore Constant "Ted" Stover
Cherryville - Mr. Theodore Constant "Ted" Stover, 84, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
Ted was born on November 28, 1932 in Beckley, West Virginia a son of the late Dowell Stover and Virginia Odell Stover. He was retired from Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation of Cherryville. Ted was a member of First Baptist Church and a the William "Dub" Beam Sunday School class. He serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Ted was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine by Governor James B. Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Chaffin Stover of the home; two daughters, Virginia Adams of Rocky Mount and Teresa Bradley and husband Andy of Bessemer City; seven grandchildren, Hope Adams, Rebecca Parks, Melia Adams, Dean Clemmer, Tara Atchley, Constance Mickle and Eliza Bradley; nine great grandchildren, Octavia Parks, Benjamin Parks, Alan Parks, Magnussun Atchley, Whittleigh Atchley, Nate Mickle, Caleb Garcia, Aston Clemmer and Jonas Clemmer.
Visitation will be from 12:45 to 1:45PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel.
Burial will be private.
