Theresa LaMantia, 67, of 178 Hulls Grove Church Road, Vale went to see Jesus on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Lincolnton.

Born November 1, 1946 in Nassau County, New York she was a daughter of the late Frank LaMantia and Concetta Ginex LaMantia.  She worked for BSN Medical and was a proud member of Hull's Grove Baptist Church.  Theresa loved cooking and loved her flower garden.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Marie Tate.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry Ball and husband, Shawn of Lincolnton and Concetta Tate of Vale; granddaughter, Katherine Ball; brother, Jack LaMantia of Clemmons; sister, Joyce Helms of Stanley; father of her
children, Troy Tate of Cherryville and lifetime friend and caregiver, Annita Craig of Vale.

Visitation: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, at Hull's Grove Baptist Church, Vale

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Thursday at Hull's Grove Baptist Church, Vale

Officiating: Revs. Marcus Redding and Jared Webb

Burial: will follow in the church cemetery

Memorials: May be made to Hull's Grove Baptist Church, 6670 West Hwy 27, Vale, NC 28168.
