Thomas "Tommy" Jeffery Fincannon
Thomas "Tommy" Jeffery Fincannon, 49, of 740 Pleasantdale Drive, Shelby,
died Monday, August 13, 2012.
Born November 14, 1962 in Cleveland County, he was the son of Jeanette Sisk
Lee and the late Charles Thomas Fincannon. He was an IT instructor for
DeVry University and a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church. Tommy was
president of an Outlaw Motorcycle support club.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Paula Wix Fincannon; daughter,
Katlyn Fincannon of the home; "special son", Dean Black; three sisters,
Billie Lynn Merck of Ellenboro, Donna Kay Porter of New Orleans and Cindy
Toney of Ellenboro; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Wix Roller and husband, Vernon
of Ft. Myers, Florida; and two sisters-in-law, Katherine Wix of Shelby and
B. Hope Wix of Boiling Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday at Double Shoals United Methodist
Church, Shelby
Officiating: Rev. Sean Turner
