Tim West, age 59, of Georgia Street, Spindale, NC, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Born May 22, 1958 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Glenn Edward West and Dorcas Justice West. Tim's life passion was cars, which included being a MOPAR enthusiast. He worked as an auto detailer for many years for Spindale Classic Detailing. Tim was also an avid Denver Broncos fan and a member of Spencer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Leona Rhymer West and his grandmother, Minnie West.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Brenda Smuda and husband, Daniel of Springfield, Massachusetts; two brothers, Dale Edward West of Spindale and Jeffery Scott West and wife, Sheila of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by two nephews, two nieces and sixteen great-nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Spencer Baptist Church with Reverend Bruce Caldwell officiating and Mrs. Brenda Smuda providing the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time in the Family Life Center of the church. At other times they will be gathered at 258 Georgia Street, Spindale.
