Timothy Michael McIntosh, known affectionately as Tim to his friends and family, left this world on April 1, 2025, at the age of 49.

Born on December 19, 1975, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Tim was a lifelong resident of the town he loved. His passing in the same place he entered the world adds a poetic closure to a life well-lived and cherished by many.

Tim's early years were spent in the warm embrace of Gastonia, where he was born to Richard and Angela McIntosh. Although his father, Richard, predeceased him, Tim's legacy continues through his devoted mother, Angela, his daughter, Holly, and his brother, Christopher, along with Christopher's wife, Crystal. His life was further brightened by the love and companionship of his fiancée, Candy Smack, with whom he shared many joyful moments.

A true fan at heart, Tim's passion for the North Carolina Tarheels basketball team was more than a pastime; it was a thread that wove through the fabric of his life, bringing him excitement and a sense of community. He was known for his infectious personality, one that could effortlessly coax laughter and smiles from anyone in his presence.
