Mr. Tony Gingles, 63, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, on September 8, 1962, to the late Curtis Wray and Elvie Gingles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Gingles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Sheron Hopper of Gaffney, SC; daughters, Shameka Hopper of Cherryville, NC, Kiara Hopper and Kira Hopper, both of Gaffney, SC; brothers, Lewis Gingles (Anita)of Grover, NC,Gregory Gingles of Campobella, SC, and Charles Gingles of Shelby, NC; sisters, Sandy Dillard (David), Shirley Shippy (Isaac), Linda Sanders, and Mary Smarr, all of Shelby, NC, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; special friend and mother of his children, Trudy Hopper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Hoppers Chapel.
