Mr. Vance Lee Hardin, 74, of 926 Eastview Street, Shelby, NC passed away Monday, December 27, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. Hardin served our country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Sue Hardin; his parents, Gus Andrew and Elizabeth Anthony Hardin; and 1 brother, Ronald “Buck” Hardin.

He is survived by 1 son, Kurt Hardin of the home; 1 daughter, Betty Hardin Shubert and husband Rodney of Kings Mountain, NC; and 1 grandson.
