Veltra Faye Gosnell, 74, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 15, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

She was born November 8, 1950 in Spartanburg county, SC, daughter of the late Reverend Ansel Center Jr. and Pauline Wooten Center and was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Keith Gosnell. Fay joined the congregation of Bethel Baptist Church in 2017 and was a faithful member. She worked for many years in the deli at Ingles grocery store. Faye enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She was a simple lady and lived a simple life, always taking pleasure in the small things. Faye will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Dr Tim Sims and Chuck Rinehart officiating

VISITATION: Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
