Vickie Hubbard Beighley, 72, of Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain with her family by her side.

She was born on November 18, 1953 in Cleveland County, and was a daughter of the late Robert Peeler Hubbard and Lois Brackett Hubbard. Vickie was the owner and operator of A Special Gift Florist and was a member of Friendship Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepson, Thomas Beighley; a brother, Bobby Hubbard; a brother-in-law, Larry Bingham; and a nephew, Robbie Hubbard.

Vickie is survived by her husband of forty-two years Melvin "Mel" Francis Beighley; her daughter, Shannon Parker and husband Kenny of Casar, NC; two step-sons, Darrell Beighley and wife Breca of Kentucky and James Beighley of Shelby; sister, Carol H. Bingham of Lawndale and grandchildren, Cora Swafford, Jack Parker, Justin Parker, Josh Beighley, Jamie Addison, Petra Machuca, Dalton Beighley, and Dr. Kamil Faridi and numerous great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Sain and Mr. Steve Martin officiating.
