 Mrs. Wanda Jean Watson, 68, of Shelby, passed away May 16th, 2012.  Services were held at Clay- Barnette Funeral Home.  Burial followed at the Sunset Cemetary. 

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents ernest and Lennis Stafford Ledford and brother, Robert Pittman. 

She is survived by her husband, Larry Watson of the home; son, Matthew Todd Watson; daughter, Deborah Philbeck McAbee, both of Shelby; two brothers, Joe Ledford and wife Juanita and Larry Ledford and wife Christina, all of Spruce Pine; and granddaughter.

Clay Barnette Funeral Home will be serving the family.
