Wendell W. Clark, 71, of 413 Murdock Circle, Shelby, NC, passed away on July 6, 2025.

He was born on May 24, 1954 in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late Willie Clark and the late Juanita Hoyle Clark.
Special memories of his love will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Geraldine Smith Clark; children, Gerard Clark (fiancé Patricia Finney) of Shelby, NC, Kenya Brown of Winston Salem, NC, and Jason Clark (Kevetta) of Kings Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Adhija Clark, Ja'chique Clark, Tamiah Clark, Alexis Clark, Keyontae Mason, Damitri Mictchell, Blayre Mitchell and Jasolyn Clark; siblings, Benita Geneva Tidwell (Charlie) of New Jersey, Wilbert Nelson Clark (Teresa) of Earl, NC and Cephus Pounce Clark of Shelby, NC; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Hopewell Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.
