William Franklin Adair, 83, of Converse, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.

William was born on December 16, 1942, in High Shoals, NC to the late Howard and Nellie Adair.

William a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was of Baptist faith. He was married to his beloved wife, Betty Lee Adair, for 60 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Larraine Mann, his grandchildren, Katelyn Mann (Jacob and Zeke Dawkins), and Josh Mann
(Ellie and Elsie).

He will be deeply missed by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 1 PM to 2:30 PM at Franklin Fellowship Hall Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens, South Carolina.
