Elder William James Ross Jr., 63, of Shelby, NC, departed this life on Thursday, September, 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1962, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late William James Ross Sr. and Virginia Louise Young Ross.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Lewis Ross.

He leaves to cherish fond memories to his children, James Antonio Ross (Antonnette), Cedric O'Brian Ross (Shanta), and Maurice Ross (Ashley); grandchildren, Amariyah Clardie, Ma'Shiya Clardie, Amariele Ross, and Amora Ross; great grandchild, A'myous Tate. He is also survived by brothers, Raymond Christopher Ross (Sarah); Ronald Shawn Ross (Pam); sisters, Patricia Ross, Ezra Mae Ross-Saunders, Lisa Spikes (Frank), Cheryl Brown, Ann Ross, and Melissa Thurman and Brenda Padgett (Matthew); aunts, Diane Young Wilson and Patricia Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Pentecostal Apostolic Church of God in Christ in Shelby, NC.
