Willy Victor Carmona, 66, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on May 27, 2025.He was born June 14, 1958 in Callao, Peru, son of the late Victor Raul Carmona Colmenares and Marcela Fernandez Carmona. Willy worked most of his life in the transportation industry as a truck driver. He was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly. Willy was a devoted and faithful husband who showed his affection to his wife Silvia constantly. Whether dancing with her in the kitchen or giving her praise for her wonderful food, there was no doubt, Willy loved her with all his heart. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Willy loved music, especially salsa music. He could often be found listening to his favorite tunes and enjoying a cold Inca Cola. Willy enjoyed staying healthy, working out, and was always very energetic. He was a talented artist and created many beautiful landscape paintings. He enjoyed being in nature and would often spend many hours hiking and seeing new places. willy brought joy and happiness to everyone around him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a wonderfully sarcastic side that everyone enjoyed being around. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

CELEBRATION of LIFE SERVICE: Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Eddie Grey officiating. The family requests that all in attendance wear causal white clothing.

VISITATION: Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
