Worlden Rebecca Morgan Byers, 70 of Charlie Elliott Road, Shelby passed
away, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born June 11, 1948 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
William Forrest Morgan, Sr. and Worlden Dakota Boone Morgan. She was
retired from Cones Mills in Cliffside and was a member of Redeemed
Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl
Byers, Sr.; a brother, Billy Morgan and a sister, Jenny Philbeck.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary Mayhew (Jim) of Shelby, Ann Gossett
(Clevie) of Chesnee, SC and Johnnie Allen of Shelby; a brother, Buddy Morgan
of Mooresboro; 4 special nieces, Shelby Hord, Amy Pittman, Karen Morton and
Sherry McCraw; more special nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Baby.

Visitation will be 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Thursday at Redeemed Pentecostal
Holiness Church. At other times the family will be at the home of a niece,
Shelby Hord, 1000 E. Sanders Road, Shelby.

A funeral service will be 2:30PM, Thursday at Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness
Church with Rev. Coye Sanders and Rev. David Lester officiating.

Burial will follow in Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, Ellenboro.
