KINGS MOUNTAIN- Broadus Lee Jackson, 85, passed away Monday January 16, 2017 at Willow Ridge Nursing Facility. A native of Cherokee County, SC he was born April 11, 1931. He was a member of Royal Praise Ministries in Kings Mountain. He was a loving husband, father, Grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. The family would like to extend a grateful appreciation to the staff of Willow Ridge Nursing Facility for the care and love they gave not only Broadus but to them as well.

PRECEDED: He was preceded in death by his wife, Callie Martin Jackson; one son, Bobby Eugene Jackson; two sisters; three brothers; a great great granddaughter, Rosie Jackson.

SURVIVED: He is survived by two sons, Broadus Edward Jackson and wife Judy of Shelby, and Bishop Brady Jackson, Sr. and wife Teresa D. of Kings Mountain; one brother, Robert Jackson of Kings Mountain; eight grandchildren, Brandy, Jennifer, Holly, Katheryn, Timothy, David, Brady, Jr., and Nikki; 18 great grandchildren, Sheldon, David, Meagan, Logan, Summer, Chase, Brooke, Ricky, Taylor, Erinn, Anthony, Kaylee, Travis, Tyler, Caleb, Elijah, Maddy, and Dessa; eight great great grandchildren, Alexa, Kassidi, Ricky, Jr., Isabella, Chloe, Elizabeth, Callie, Steeler, and Karson.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 4 pm Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 2-4pm Thursday at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Pastor George Moore will officiate.

INTERMENT: Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery after the service.
