SHELBY - Barbara Jo Carpenter Huffman, 84, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare - Cleveland surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Eva Dedmon Carpenter; brother, Harold Carpenter; one sister, Helen Sue Carpenter.
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 66 years, Bill Huffman; daughter, Beth Causby and husband Michael; granddaughter, Tracy Tessener and husband Josh; two great-granddaughters, Baylee Elizabeth-May Packard and Rylee Grace Tessener; sister, Jeraldine Monroe.
She retired from Fasco in the early 80's. She worked part-time at Hamricks in Gaffney and Wal-Mart in Shelby. She enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Sunset Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Beth and Michael Causby, 530 Cherryville Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
Arrangements are entrusted to Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC of Boiling Springs.
