Doyleta Wright Heavner

Crouse - Mrs. Doyleta Wright Heavner, age 82, went to her heavenly home on
Sunday, July 26, 2015.

Doyleta was born on September 15, 1932 in Cleveland County to the late Esper
H. and Dessie W. Wright. Doyleta attended Cherryville High School and Kings
Business College and retired from Modern Polymers as office manager and
bookkeeper. She touched many lives with her faith by teaching Sunday
School for over 40 years. For over 15 years, her special ministry was to
send birthday, anniversary and thinking of you cards to church members,
shut-ins and anyone who asked it of her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by the love of
her life and husband of 67 years, Marvin "Ben" Heavner, and her sister,
Reabrin Patterson.

She is survived by daughters: Benetta O'Connor (Doug); Jan Thrift (Roger),
Kathy Huss (Robert), Sandy Cashion (Perry); 4 grandchildren: Donita
Frankosky (Jason), Michael Huss (Andi) , Charity Hedgepeth (Danny) and Roger
Ben Thrift (Dana); 9 great- grandchildren: Jordan Davis, Brett Davis, Ty
Frankosky, Lacey Frankosky, Bailey Huss, Elijah Hedgepeth, Garett Hedgepeth,
Seth Hedgepeth and Hailey Thrift; a very special sister-in-law, Betty Auten
and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers who treated Doyleta with love
and respect, but especially Charity Hedgepeth (granddaughter), Sue Turpin,
Tammy Walker, Natalie Jackson, and Tonya Lail. Thank you to Hospice of
Lincoln County (Susan Sain, Wendy Parker, Brad Dunn and Gretchen) for their
comfort and support both for Doyleta and for the family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00 pm
until 8:00 pm at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
(Highway 150 W) 405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC.

Her Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29,
2015, at Bethphage Lutheran Church in Lincolnton, NC with Pastor Fred
Mitshke officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethphage Lutheran Church, 3440
Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092 or Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 North
Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
