Ella Mae "Noodie" Head Parker, 78, of 4434 Shuford Lake Rd. in Lawndale, died Friday May 4, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born January 21, 1934 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late William Brownlo Head and Myrtle Robbins Head.  Mrs. Parker was a devoted member of Community Baptist Church and retired from Doran Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preced in death by her husband, Billy Junior Parker,  to whom she was a loving and devoted wife and brothers, Earl Head and Hugh Lee Head.

Mrs. Parker is survived by nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Head, Matthew Whisnant and wife Jill, Ronnie Head and wife Donnis, Loretta Whisnant and husband Richard, Julia McArthur and husband Tommy, Makenzie Head, Destiny Mitchell and Emily Daves; sisters-in-law, Shirley Edwards and husband Bud, Jane Sipes and husband Robert, Mary Rogers and husband Dwight and Betty Head; brother-in-law Clyde and Valerie Parker; special friends, Brenda, Warren and Chad White, Steve and Linda Walker and family;  many other loving relatives in the Head, Robbins and Parker Families; her church family and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.

The funeral will be 3:00 PM Monday at Community Baptist Church in Shelby with Rev. John Bridges officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
