Glenda Burton Collins, 66, of Pinewood,  drive passed away Friday August 15, 2014 at her home. Glenda was the daughter of the late Forest and Ethel Bowen Burton.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Collins and brother, Ronald Burton. Mrs. Collins graduated from Kings Mountain High School in 1966 and worked as a registered nurse in the medical field for a number of years.  She recently moved from Winchester, VA where she was a member of Opequon Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Collins is survived by a son, Derek Kriegel of Lynn Haven, FL and a daughter, Taryn Thibeault and husband, Trevor, of Burke, VA.  She adored her three grandsons, Samuel Kriegel, Collin and Drew Thibeault.  She is also survived by a brother, Marty Burton and wife, Debbie of Kings Mountain and four nephews, Ben and Ronald Burton of Charlotte, Cody and Patrick of Kings Mountain.

Services will be held in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory in on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 11AM with Rev. Robbie Moore officiating.
