Hundreds Attend Fly-In And Open House At Airport
JAARS,  “Jungle Aviation and Radio Service”,  provided 131 helicopter flights and over 139 plane rides during last weekend’s annual fly-in at the Shelby-Cleveland County Regional Airport on Saturday, October 15th. Tours of the new airport terminal, plus several aircraft and military vehicles made it a fun filled and interesting day. Pictured getting off of one of the helicopter rides are Rhonda and Kevin Orange of Chesterton, Indiana. They were visiting their Aunt Pat Hamrick from the area and came out to enjoy the show. Aunt Pat said the ride was “just great”. JAARS is a nonprofit organization that provides technical support services—such as aviation, information technology, and media—to advance Bible translation and literacy programs worldwide.
