Millard Dwayne Parker, Jr., 69 of 105 Causby Hoyle Road, Casar, passed away
Monday, December 15, 2014 at his residence.
Born August 7, 1945 in Cleveland County he was a son of the late Millard
Dwayne Parker, Sr. and Zula Hull Parker. He was self-employed and a member
of Corinth Baptist Church. Junior was a member of the Casar Masonic Lodge #
579 and a member of the Upper Cleveland Rescue Squad.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer
and Randy Parker and three sisters, Hettie Herman, Louise McFarland and
Colleen Gettys.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marlene Mull Parker; three sons,
Tommy Parker and fiancée, Kay Bright of Casar, Joey Parker and wife, Missy
of Lawndale and Kenny Parker and wife, Emily of Lawndale; three
grandchildren, Ethan Ramsey, Justin Parker and Maggie Parker; brother,
Dennis Parker of Shelby; and three sisters, Bernice Mosteller of Casar, Judy
Buff of Casar and Rachel Buchanan of Hickory.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Fresenius Dialysis
Center.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Thursday, at Corinth Baptist Church, Casar. The
body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.
Officiating: Rev. Robert Goins and Rev. Norris Willis.
Burial: will follow in the church cemetery

PO Box 639, Fallston, NC 28042 to help with funeral expenses.
