Mission Gives Toys To Make Christmas Special
Curtis Oliver, Matthew Bradley and Kyle Smart
The Crossroads Rescue Mission held their annual toy giveaway on Thursday, December 19th at the mission. Toys were given to those who registered and qualified. They were able to select $50 in toys for each child in the family. Members of the Crossroads Rescue Mission were there to accommodate everyone and offer lunch. On sight counselors were present to help advise recipients and recommend the best toys for their kids. Present members in the program at the Mission were also allowed to select toys for their children, when they go home for Christmas. The event was filled with love and caring. The Crossroads Rescue Mission continues to have a tremendous impact on the lives of men who seek to give themselves a new beginning through the Lord. Those who complete the program return to a better life and are challenged to spread the word of God. Crossroads Rescue Mission has been “Giving Hope to the Hopeless Since 2011” and is located at 206 Mt. Sinai Ch. Road, Shelby, NC. You can contact the Mission by phone at 704-484-8770 or online at http://www.crossroadsrescuemission.org.
