Vickie Gold Edwards, age 59, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Mary Black Health System in Gaffney, SC. Born February 2, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Dan Thomas Gold Jr. and wife Ella Elmore Gold. Vickie enjoyed cooking very much and worked as a cook for Rhonda's Kitchen in Grover. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, any chance she could.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her brother Chris Whisnut, her grandfather, AF Elmore, and her granddaughter, Piper Scott.

Vickie is survived by her husband of 19 years, Steve Edwards of Blacksburg, SC, two daughters; Nikki Scott of Morganton and Evie Bailey and husband Tommy of Caroleen. Three sisters; Judy Newton and husband Tim of Polkville, Libby Brown and husband Loyd of Polkville, and Donna Nickels of Easley, SC. Two brothers, Danny Thomas Gold III of Boiling Springs and Randy Elmore of Blacksburg, SC as well as two grandchildren, Tristen Scott and Daryn Bailey and Vickie's best friend Becca Eaker of Blacksburg, SC.

Funeral Service will be held 3 pm Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Scott Holland officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 pm until 3 pm at the funeral home.
