Mrs. Agnes B. Ward Beason, 79, of Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. Burial was held in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro. 

Mrs. Beason was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Beason; her parents, Fred Burgess and  Edna McCall Burgess; one brother, Ronald Burgess and one sister, Donnie Ellis.

She is survived by sons, Donnie Beason & wife, Myra of Boiling Springs; Bruce Ward and wife, Martha Conyers of GA; Glenn Ward and  wife, Beth of Statesville, NC; Terry Ward and wife, Vivian of  Lawndale; Randy Ward and wife, Debbie of Lawndale; one adoptive Brother, Bobby Burgess; one adoptive sisters, Denise Allen, Nancy Dennis and Linda Barnette; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.
