| Allie Mae Bolin, 77, of 120 Lakeview Drive, Blacksburg, passed away March 25th, 2012 at White Oak Manor of York.
Born in Rutherfordton, NC, Mrs. Bolin was the wife of James Bolin of the home and the daughter of the late Worth Thomas Walker and Mary Frances Hargett Walker. She worked as a spinner in the textile industry and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Clover, SC.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bolin is survived by four daughters, Rena Lanier of Blacksburg, Veronica Huffman of Grover, NC, Betty Sain of Lincolnton, NC, Rita Carpenter of Vale, NC; two step-sons, James (Buck) Bolin of Blacksburg, Jerry Bolin of Hickory Grove, SC; four step-daughters, Mary Ramsey and Sharon Walden of York, Sandra Wilkerson and Barbara Howe of Hickory Grove, SC; one brother, Jack V. Walker of Rock Hill; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren, seventeen step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Ayers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Mr. Curley Lanier and Rev. Olivene Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the residence.
