Carrol "Danny" Daniel Spurling, 58, of 232 Shelby Road, Lawndale, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his residence.
Born August 1, 1956 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Carolyn Owens Spurling of Lawndale and the late Daniel Lattmore Spurling. He was formerly employed by Cleveland Lumber Company and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Danny served in the 101st Airborne division of the US Army.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Ann Stanton Spurling; two sons, John Daniel Spurling and wife, April of Los Angeles, CA and Matthew Joseph Spurling and wife, Joanna of Ft. Hood, TX;
daughter, Kimberly Michelle Killian and husband, Adam of Casar; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sarah Grace Spurling, Maia Peyton Spurling, Ciera Thomas, Selina Leasch and John Christian Hughes and a brother, Howard
Mark Spurling and wife, Lori of Lawndale.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
