Eat more chicken and support Special Olympics NC athletes! Satuday festivities at Chick-Fil-A and Amvets parking lots include an attendance by: Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Shelby Police Department, Shelby Fire Department, North Carolina Highway Patrol and Cleveland County EMS.

Special guest will be Shelby Mayor Ted Alexander, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Captain Allen Norman and Shelby Police Department Chief Jeff Ledford.

ALE raises funds and awareness as part of the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina. Event proceeds will support the more than 38,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities that participate in Special Olympics within the state.
