| Mrs. Doris Tate Patterson, 75, of Earl, NC, died on February 2, 2012 at Hospice of Cleveland County.
Mrs. Patterson was a retired nurse and a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She loved flowers,
cows and especially her family.
She was the daughter of the late Edward Nicholas Tate & Julia Lovelace Tate. She was also preceded
in death by her husband, Ben Hal Patterson, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Ingle Denton
and husband, Eddie of Lawndale, three sons, Nick Ingle & wife, Donna of Shelby, Joel Ingle & wife
Patti of Shelby and Eddie Ingle & wife Suzie of Holden Beach; stepsons Hal Patterson & wife, Becky of
Earl, Jeff Patterson & wife, Anne of Shelby and eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight
great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory on Sunday, February 5th,
1:00 – 2:00 PM with the memorial service following in the Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial
will be at New Hope Baptist Church. The Rev. Allen Davis will officiate.
