Eure Lee Gantt, Jr., 82, of 908 Edgewood Road, Bessemer City and formerly of
Belwood-Lawndale Road passed away January 3, 2011 at Gaston Memorial
Hospital.
Born September 12, 1928 in Catawba County, he was a son of the late Eure Lee
Gantt, Sr. and Addie Elizabeth Underwood Gantt. He retired from the US
Airforce as an aircraft mechanic with the rank of Master Sergeant. He
served in the World War II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict.
Visitation: 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Stamey Funeral
Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Stamey Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Norris Willis officiating.
Burial will follow at Norman's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military
gravesite rites.
