Eva Parker Miller, 97, of 324 17th Ave Ne in Hickory died October 28, 2011
at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.
Born June 28, 1914 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Zealous
Chive Parker and Metta Mae Kiser Parker. She was a self-employed beautician
and a member of Faith Olive Baptist Church, Hickory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David
Beam Miller, two brothers, Ford & Farrell Parker and three sisters, Mable
Kistler, Elva Hull, and Letha Bradshaw.
Survivors include one brother, Clyde Parker of Ft. Myers, FL; three sisters,
Christine Greene of Cary, Guynell Bingham of Vale, and Clara Pizzoli of
Vale; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Stamey Funeral Home,
Fallston
The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel,
Fallston.
Officiating: Rev. Steve Houser
Burial will follow at Hull's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
