| Jean Black Detter, age 69, resident of 2065 Bethlehem Road, Kings Mountain, NC died June 16, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. She was born in Cherokee Co, SC to the late Coy “Doc” Black, Sr. and Sally Moore Black. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, the late Edward Detter, brother, Calvin Black, and sister, Shirley Owens. She attended Landmark Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC, retired from Bradington-Young, Cherryville, NC and former employee of 19 years with Clevemont Mills, Kings Mtn. NC. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
