Jerry Jackie Lamb
Jerry Jackie Lamb, 61, of 214 Knot Street, passed away Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
 
Born in Gaffney, Mr. Lamb was the son of the late Grady Clyde and Beatrice Foster Lamb.  Mr. Lamb retired from construction and was of the Baptist faith.
 
Mr. Lamb is survived by a daughter, Linda Lamb Wilson, of Gaffney; two brothers, Donnie Ray Lamb and James E. Foster, both of Gaffney; a special niece, Linda Wilson and husband, Horace, of Gaffney; a special great-niece, Lois W. Blanton, of Gaffney; and 2 grandchildren.
 
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy M. Willard, Patricia C. Shatley, Mearl Foster Duncan, and Ruby F. Frazier; and a brother, Talmadge Foster.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 2011, at 11:00am at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Sidney Norton officiating.  The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.  Mitchell Rice, Horace Wilson, Tommy Wilson, Greg Byars, and Will Byars will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at Horace and LInda Wilson's residence, 149 Green Valley Road, Gaffney, SC.
