Jimmy Camp, age 63, of 120 Ola Drive, Ellenboro, NC died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Carolinas Medical  Center , Charlotte, NC.

Jimmy was born September 11, 1947 in Rutherford County to  Mildred Biggerstaff Camp  and the late James William “Buck” Camp, Sr.  He was owner and operator of Camps Well and Pump Company since 1966.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Holland Camp, one son, David Camp and wife Leeanne of Ellenboro, NC; one sister, Barbara Atchley and husband Ronnie of Ellenboro, NC; two granddaughters,  Lauren Camp and Kaylee Camp;  a niece, Angie Welborn and daughter Emma of High Point, NC and by his in-laws and a number of nieces and nephews of  Cleveland County, NC.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Hawkins and Reverend Scott Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
