| Kenneth Marlin Danner, 65, of Shelby, died on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Philipsburg, PA, he is the son of the late Herbert Danner and Freida Lorraine Stonebraker Carney. He is also preceded in death by his step-father George Carney, a sister, Patricia Shaw and a brother, Jim Carney. Mr. Danner was retired from Universal Manufacturing.
Mr. Danner is survived by his wife Barbara E. Danner of the home; a son, Scott Danner and wife Gina Carter Danner of Alpharetta, GA; sisters, Diane Mills and husband Gerald of West Decatur, PA, Teresa Young and husband Bill of LaGrange, NC; grandchildren, Mia Danner, Claire Danner, and Kenneth Reed Danner of Alpharetta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, March 26, 2011. The Rev. Scott Hardin will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00pm prior to the service at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home.
