Louverta Ann Harris Roberson, 67, of  Lawndale, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 10, 2011 at  her  residence.

Born in Guilford County on April 4, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Robert Jackson Harris Sr. and Margaret Walker Harris. She was owner and operator of Shelby Tax Service in Shelby. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Cherryville and also attended Victory Life Assembly of God in Cherryville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Don Alan Wright; a sister, Nancy Neill McCurry and one grandchild, Mark Zachary Blanton.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie R. Roberson; one son, Larry Gene Heafner II and wife Vicki of Denver, CO, two daughters, Michelle H. Douglas and husband Brennan of Lawndale and  Ramona Lea Heafner of Shelby;  brother, Robert Jackson Harris Jr. of Buffalo, NY, five grandchildren, Michael Heafner, Sunflower Camp, Ella Heafner, Lucas Heafner and Jackson Phillips; and special friends, Joann Peeler, Vivian Wiley, Cindy Sain and Judy Lail.

The memorial service will be 3:00 PM Monday  at Second Baptist Church in Cherryville with Rev. Mike Staton officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Burial will be private.
