| CLIFFSIDE - Macie Henson Hardin, 90, of Haney Drive, Cliffside, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Autumn Care Nursing Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was born on October 4, 1921, a daughter of the late Mack Henson and Dollie Byars Henson Silver. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation - Haynes Plant. She was also an active member of Plain View Baptist Church. She loved flowers and her cats.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Hardin; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Hardin and fiancé Cathy Hamilton of Cliffside; one grandson, Jimmy Ray Hardin, Jr. and wife Donna; one great granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Hardin; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Greene of Forest City. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Plain View Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Toney, Rev. Ray Hooper, Rev. Wayne Toney and Rev. Marshall Dill officiating. Burial will follow at Plain View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 11:15am in the Sanctuary of Plain View Baptist Church.
